Who we are

PreLovedIE is a marketplace where families list and sell their own pre-loved children's occasionwear. The site is operated by Formalwear 4 Kids, Church Street, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. For any question about your data, email hello@prelovedie.ie.

Our role in a sale

We publish listings; we do not sell the items. Each dress belongs to the family who listed it, and they are responsible for its description, condition and the sale itself. We do not inspect, authenticate, store or post items, and no payment for an item passes through us. Buyers and sellers agree price, payment and handover between themselves.

What we collect

• Sellers: name, email, optional phone, listing details and photos, and listing-fee payment records.
• Buyers: the name, email, optional phone and message you send to a seller.
• Reports: the reason, any detail you add and an email address if you give one.
• Technical: basic anonymous usage data if you accept analytics cookies.

What is public

A published listing shows its photos, description, price, county, the seller's name and email, and the seller's phone number if they chose to show it. Anything shown on a listing is visible to anyone who views the page. Sellers can change or remove those details at any time from their dashboard.

Why we use it

To publish and manage listings, to let buyers contact sellers, to take the listing fee, to handle reports and to answer your messages. We never sell your data.

Where it lives, and for how long

Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Listings and photos are kept while live and for up to 12 months after they expire. Buyer messages are kept for 12 months. Payment records are kept for 6 years for accounting.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and the site working — these can't be switched off. Analytics cookies only load if you accept them in the banner, and you can clear your choice at any time in your browser settings.

Listing fee terms

The listing fee of €20 publishes one item for 6 months and is charged per listing. If a listing cannot be published, the fee is refunded in full. Once published, the fee is non-refundable. Relisting an expired or sold item is a new listing and a new fee. We may decline or remove a listing that breaks these terms or the law.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us and we'll action it within 30 days. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
